Wow...this is powerful! I love the symmetry on either side of the frame. The way the light is shining right on the chair is a contradiction for me...as I see this as perhaps was a time of sadness...Strong image!

One of our's too - old barn or place, that had its own life and tells still so much about it... Your tones are so tender, the shadow but also the white parts/boards compose a very powerful painting full of emotions that the fab quote enhances. Bravo, Maestro mio !

Very nice and tender evocation of childhood... It's really amazing how I do also associate my grand-parents with the countryside, farms and fields... they teach me to protect and respect nature, to learn the notion of time which endlessly flyes, how to get pleasure in simple things... they teach me to enter the world somehow... I do consider your picture as a great and tender tribute to them (yours as a matter of fact but also every grand-parents over the world).
