Absolute Power

True, This! -
Beneath the rule of men entirely great,
The pen is mightier than the sword. Behold
The arch-enchanters wand! - itself a nothing! -
But taking sorcery from the master-hand
To paralyze the Caesars, and to strike
The loud earth breathless! - Take away the sword -
States can be saved without it!

Edward Bulwer-Lytton in his play Richelieu

The ink that is put on paper can kill by starting wars, it can save and rescue too, it depends on our masters what they want. Lovely image very well composed.

I can see how the one who had written here was dressed (not like me at this very moment for sure ;-) Love the letter in transparence, the colors, and to figure out why it turned so scarlet red... Like in a Hawthorne masterpiece ? Since this is masterpiece, once more...

Amazing capture and processing again, I have no idea how you do what you do but you do it so amazingly well
As for the pen being mightier than the sword very true, but its also very true that many wars have started through the words written by a pen, maybe I am skeptical through where i work and what I have seen in my travels to war torn spots in the woorld, but in all honesty if there were no weapons on the planet, wars would be thought with pens and the only difference is they would take a lot more stabs to fatally injure someone than a sword would
